My Playgrounds
I have several playgrounds that allow me to learn and play with incoming data, 3rd party tools and integrations. A couple of my latest playgrounds are related to remote extracurricular learning: Campamento de Verano Online, 101 Remote Work, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Covidcionario, No Simp September meaning, Best Zapps – Zoom Apps, Cuando esto termine. Learn about my playgrounds here.
I am lately playing with many tools with the objective of learning. Some of the tools I’m playing with are Zapier, Stripe, Mailchimp, Woocommerce, Airtable, Siteground, Google Maps API, WordPress, Google Tag Manager, and many more. Playing with these tools requires a lot of time, and real use cases.
I’m learning to ship fast with no-code, and playing with data-capturing interfaces and doing stuff with the incoming data.
A couple of areas of interest:
- 101 Remote Work and Campamento de Verano Online – The idea of remote extracurricular learning is something that I’m starting to like. I’ve been working and learning remotely for over 10 years now, and I’m a big fan of doing it right; my kids are engaged on a distance learning program completing the US high school online, while they complete the Spanish high school in a traditional offline school; and I led the launch of IE Business School online programs back in 2000, now these programs lead the international rankings;
- No Simp September meaning, I just want to see if I can rank it well in a very short period of time; Best Zapps – Apps for Zoom, I want to understand how does Zoom scales as a platform;
- Cuando esto termine (read about the integrations I’m playing with in Cuando esto…) and Covidcionario (here are the steps I followed to build the Covidcionario) are two playground born out of Covid;
- I’m setting up several other playgrounds.
